Sjoerd Westerhof
Sjoerd is an Agile Architect/Tech lead with close to 20 years of experience in software development. He likes to focus on all elements needed to successfully design great software of which Domain-Driven Design is an important component.
Sjoerd applies Strategic DDD to think about systems and system boundaries and how to use these boundaries for setting up system characteristics or aligning teams. An approach has not only proven its worth in a Microservices architecture, yet is also valuable to split or reorganize a Monolith.
Besides that, Sjoerd is an engineer in heart and soul. In that role, he uses Tactical DDD to control complexity in the code base and build a bridge between Software Development and the Business.
