TBR Virtual Edition (TBR-VE™) Class

Take your online training skills to a more advanced level as you discover how the human brain really learns, which is very different from traditional assumptions about learning. In addition, training in an online environment and facilitating these events require a different approach to learning. Explore the most current “cognitive neuroscience” about effective instruction – how the brain takes in, stores, retrieves, and uses knowledge. Apply newly learned neuroscience principles every time you train, teach, or coach others online.

Apply neuroscience to take your virtual training to the next level!

We know that training in an online environment and facilitating these events have become commonplace. But delivering training in the online environment is not about simply copy-pasting your physical training to an online tool. It's so much more than that.

In this practical and interactive 5-module virtual class, you’ll explore current neuroscience principles as it relates to human learning in live and virtual environments. You’ll discover 6 specific neuroscience principles and a 4-step instructional design model that you can use in your own teaching and training. And you’ll leave with dozens of new ideas, activities, resources, and a new “Gold Standard” for virtual instruction and learning.

Following the TBR Virtual Edition (TBR-VE™) Class is perfect when...

...you are an online facilitator, trainer, or teacher, and you would like your students to learn in the best way possible. If you would like to know:

  • How to maximize learning.
  • How to connect with participants and how to engage all learners in training.
  • How brain-based principles support your learning.
  • How to make the best use of all of this in a virtual environment.

In-Person TBR Practitioner Class vs. TBR Virtual Edition (TBR-VE™) Class

We offer both the In-Person TBR Practitioner Class and the TBR Virtual Edition (TBR-VE™) Class. Let us explain some of the differences, or check a full comparison on the official TBR website (see below).

  • The physical TBR Practitioner Class is in-person and takes 2 full days of 8 hours at our offices in Hilversum or Amsterdam. The TBR Virtual Edition (TBR-VE™) Class is online and consists of 5x2.5-hour sessions.
  • The physical TBR course focuses on teaching in a face-to-face learning environment, while the Virtual Edition is about live-streaming, virtual learning environments.
  • While the TBR Practitioner Class is geared toward trainers and teachers, the TBR Virtual Edition (TBR-VE™) Class is meant for a broader audience, like online facilitators and people giving online instructions.
