The learning in this module is built upon our proven tool: The Stakeholder Pyramid. We start with understanding how the basic practices and tools are needed to lay the groundwork. Then, through identifying and strategizing your stakeholders, you can start to build meaningful relationships.
Lastly, we will provide you with the tools and practices to recognize various challenging situations, and ensure you have what it takes to master those situations. Consider challenging stakeholders who are resisting, with whom you need to negotiatie, stakeholders that you need to say ‘no’ to, and battle the politics you might find yourself in.
We believe that by equipping you with practical skills and knowledge, you will be able to confidently manage any type of stakeholder situation, ultimately driving success in your role as a Product Owner or Manager. Each PPM™ training module offers a mix of learning styles, from self-study to classroom training and individual exercises to group workshops. You will learn, apply, evaluate, and create knowledge and experience with peers as you work on stuff that impacts your daily work.

In this training, consisting of 3 days, you will learn the following, as shown in the drop down list.
Part 1: Kick-off, introductions, and context analysis
We begin by setting the stage for your journey, providing an overview of the program, exploring current challenges and introduce you to the stakeholder pyramid.
Part 2: Introducing the Stakeholder Pyramid
We will introduce the cornerstone of this training: The Stakeholder Pyramid. A proven framework that allows you to connect the dots when it comes to any type of stakeholder interaction.
Part 3: Developing Stakeholder Management Strategy
Identify & map stakeholders. Then, utilize these insights to craft a tailor-made stakeholder management strategy for the key stakeholders you will be working with. Discover techniques for aligning stakeholder goals with organizational objectives.
Who is it for?
The Influencing, Politics & Stakeholder Management training module is ideal for product management and product ownership professionals with at least 3-5 years of (product) experience. If you seek to enhance your ability to better collaborate with stakeholders and drive the more challenging discussions, this program is designed for you. Moreover, professionals from diverse roles involved in driving product success, managing stakeholders, or seeking to boost collaboration and influence will find immense value in this course. Requirements
You are a product management practitioner (you own/manage a product in your daily work).
You are an experienced Product Owner, Manager, or Leader (at least three years of Product Owner experience, preferably five or more).
Ideally, you have had former Product Owner/Management training (e.g., PSPO, PSPO-A, CSPO, A-CSPO).
You are involved in developing a product or operating within a domain where stakeholder management is part of your work.

After registering for this course, you will receive a confirmation email with practical information. A week before the start of the program, you will receive an email to check for any dietary requirements. We have a salad bar and fresh pastries every day.

The full PPM™ program offers various training modules, each focused on a specific product management skill and knowledge area. This Stakeholder Management course is one of those modules and focuses on Influencing, Politics & Stakeholder Engagement.
This training module has successfully run as an in-company program with multiple enterprise organizations.
Travel & accommodation expenses are not included.
A form of NDA might be required for this training, to ensure full disclosure in a public course setting, where various product details will be shared. This depends on the group distribution and can only be known after final registrations.
