Welcome to the Open Source at GoDataDriven, Hacktoberfest 2017 edition.

Hacktoberfest is a month-long celebration of open source software that Digital Ocean organized
with Github. Some of us participated, some of us just contributed to open source projects.

Among the participants we have Bas — he contributed:

Fokko didn’t sleep of course, even though he was for a long time on holiday in beautiful Italy.
He started off the month by becoming committer and PPMC member of Apache Airflow. You can read
the announcement on the wiki.

He then went on and contributed:

Niels also kept on contributing with:

Kris opened PR 1 to Flink-stuff — you can’t beat that name — and PR 174 to our beloved
Divolte.

Rodrigo was also part of the party with PR 30 to forestFloor.

Lastly there was me: I contributed PR 2186 and 2187 to Apache NiFi.

That’s it for this edition.

If you also want to work for a company contributing to open source, we’re hiring!
