Welcome to the Open Source at GoDataDriven, December 2017 edition.

I’m terribly late as I was enjoying some time off. But not everyone was still during this time.
So let’s kick this edition off.

Rogier and Vincent published a new open source tool, evol,
a python grammar for evolutionary algorithms and heuristics. They worked on it for 6 months, so
check it out! They also have nice pictures!

But they were not the only ones publishing a new project! Robert published Samenvattr, a
Dutch-language extractive text summarization tool (hence the same: samenvatten means summarise in
Dutch).
