How do I register for a training course?

You can register yourself on our website, by clicking on the “Register now” button on a training page.

Do the prices include or exclude VAT?

All prices exclude VAT. If VAT is applicable, it will be shown in the payment process.

What are the payment options?

You can pay by invoice, credit card, or via internet banking/online payment system.

Can I cancel a booked training?

If you cancel up to one month before the first training day, we won't charge you. Cancellations between one month and two weeks before the first training day result in a 50% payment of the total price. If you cancel a course within two weeks of the first training day, we charge you the total price. Please remember, you must always cancel in writing.

Do note that we often offer the possibility to postpone your training.

Is lunch included in the training?

All training courses include lunch unless otherwise noted. If you have dietary requirements, please notify us in advance by phone or via email.

At what time are the venues opened?

You are welcome at our venues in Hilversum and Amsterdam from 8.00 a.m.

I’m not able to register for a training course, how can I fix this?

If you’re having problems with registration, we’re happy to help. Just get in touch via phone or our chat.

I’m interested in attending a training course that is not on the current schedule. What do I do?

We plan training courses throughout the entire year, so if you don’t see the training of your choice on the schedule, there’s still a chance we could add it. Give us a call or get in touch via our chat so we can discuss.

Do I get a certificate for a non-certified training course?

After a non-certified training, you will receive a Xebia Certificate of Completion. In case you did not receive or lost this certificate, please let us know by phone or via email.

Can the training course be given to a group at our own location?

Yes, in-company training can be received at your own location, or at one of the Xebia offices. Get personal advice on the options for in-company training courses. Just get in touch with us via phone or email.

Which training course best matches my profile, function, situation or development?

What are PDUs and SEUs?

PDUs are credits awarded by Project Management Institute (PMI)® and Scrum.org. SEUs are credits awarded by Scrum Alliance®. You can claim these credits by attending our partner-affiliated courses, such as Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), or Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO).  

Professional Development Unit (PDU)

Scrum.org awards one PDU for one hour of learning activity, so you earn professional development units (PDUs) by attending any professional Scrum.org- approved training. For example, after attending any of the following two-day Xebia Academy trainings, you can claim 14 PDUs:

After attending Xebia’s three-day Applying Professional Scrum for Software Development (APS-SD) training, you can can claim 21 credits. PDUs are earned by attending a training, not for passing a specific Scrum.org assessment. 

Why do I need PDUs?

Maintaining PMI® certification requires that you earn 30 to 60 PDUs per three-year certification cycle, depending on the details of your current certification. 

How and where can I claim PDU credits?

As a student, you can claim PDUs under PMI's "Education Courses by Third-Party Providers” category online

Scrum Educational Units (SEU)

You can earn SEU credits by attending Scrum Alliance® approved training. 

Why do I need SEUs?

You need at least 70 SEUs to become to become a Certified Scrum Professional (CSP). Read more information about CSP certification and claiming SEUs on the Scrum Alliance® website.

How and where can I claim SEU credits?

You can log and track your SEUs in your online Scrum Alliance account using the "Manage SEUs" link on the dashboard. SImply add your SEU points in Category B: “Scrum Alliance Courses or Coaching.”

How can I validate my one-year work experience at Scrum Alliance for the A-CSM and A-CSPO certifications?

You will need to log your hours in your Scrum Alliance account (likely set up when you received your CSPO®/CSM® certification). To do this, go to your “Certification Dashboard” under “Settings” at the top right of the screen. Under the profile picture, select “Edit” your certification profile. Scroll down to “Add/edit” your work experience. If you still find problems, you can contact support@scrumalliance.org
