KanBan Works

Xebia Background Header Wave

Description

Everyone is busy, but it seems like nothing ever gets done. We are good at starting, but bad at finishing tasks. Kanban is a visual planning method from Japan – developed by Taiichi Ohno – that helps you work on the right things at the right time and focus on completing tasks. Because only work that is finished has value. By visualizing your work, for example on a Kanban board, you (and others) see exactly what needs to be done, what is being worked on, where the bottlenecks are and when the work is done.

Not only do you get more control over your time with Kanban, it also makes work more fun! This book consists of two parts. The first part is an introduction to Kanban and the underlying principles that make Kanban so successful. The second part explains how to apply Kanban concretely. At home or at work, individually or in a team. It is not without reason that Scrum and Agile frequently use Kanban techniques. The many real-life examples in this book show how you can apply Kanban in your own work. Suitable for beginners, but also for readers who want to sharpen their Kanban skills.
