As a DevOps Consultant at Xebia | Microsoft Servicest, you will play a crucial role in assisting our clients in adopting and executing DevOps methodologies using Azure DevOps and GitHub. By collaborating closely with client stakeholders, software development teams, and other Xebia | Microsoft Services consultants, you will provide expert guidance and support throughout the entire software development lifecycle. Your deep interest in building and operating Microsoft Azure workloads will be instrumental in helping teams enhance their DevOps practices.
What you will do as a DevOps Consultant
As a DevOps Consultant, your primary responsibilities include assessing customer capabilities and crafting a DevOps roadmap infused with industry best practices to optimize their software delivery. Your role extends to automating systems and infrastructure in cloud-native environments, employing DevOps patterns. Additionally, you’ll serve as a communicator, presenting technical solution details and DevOps practices across all organizational levels. A crucial aspect of your role involves creating proofs-of-concept, showcasing innovative ideas and concepts to both customers and prospects.
THIS IS YOUR DREAM JOB IF…
✅You are familiar with continuous testing, integration, and deployment for cloud solutions.
✅You have strong knowledge of GitHub and Azure DevOps, including experience with continuous integration, delivery, and deployment pipelines.
✅You have a strong understanding of Scrum, Agile Development, and Application Lifecycle Management with a DevOps mindset.
✅You have hands-on experience using Git version control solutions and branching strategies.
✅You are comfortable working with a mix of Microsoft and open-source technologies for cloud-scale deployments.
✅You have experience with both Windows and Linux environments.
✅You possess advanced knowledge of the .NET development platform and at least one programming language, preferably C#.
✅You are knowledgeable about Azure cloud Infrastructure as Code and secure deployment practices.
✅You have experience with ARM provisioning using Bicep or Terraform templates.
