Co-present your Slides in Google Meet, no more ‘Next Please’!

Have you ever hosted a video conference with multiple speakers where you used a slidedeck to present? If you have, you know that it wasn’t very efficient: you either had to change who was actually sharing the slides or the one sharing the slides had to follow the speaker’s instructions “Next slide, please”.

You may be happy to hear that, from now on, you can invite other participants to co-present during a Meet session.

As the primary presenter, you can assign attendants to co-present the Google Slides. A notification pops up at the assigned person. The co-presenters can then do the following:

  1. See the other participants, slides and navigation of the presentation on one screen
  2. Navigate through the slides
  3. Start and stop media files in the presentation

So, finally, no more “Next slide please!” shouts through your presentation… 😉

This co-presenter’s feature adds up to previous updates such as directly presenting your Google Slides in Google Meet and looking at your speaker notes.

And we can’t wait for Duet AI to be officially launched, that will really disrupt the way we work and collaborate!
