Does this sound like you?
You are an engineer with a pragmatic attitude. You are comfortable with the responsibility that comes with putting systems into production. You switch easily between scripting and structured programming in typed programming languages. You understand cloud, provisioning, and automation. And you know how to build robust systems.
How you’re going to help create value with Data & AI
At Xebia Data, we build strong Data & AI practices to deliver value to our clients and their customers. In the past, our team of data professionals has predicted the daily demand for millions of loaves of bread, built advanced energy-saving algorithms on a national scale, and established data innovation labs at large multinational companies. We are highly successful in making top companies AI-driven – just think what else we could achieve if YOU joined our team!
As a data engineer, you will be responsible for implementing the fundamentals of data systems. You will develop the infrastructure to store, transform and process data at scale and in the cloud. You will ensure that data is stored securely with the technology that you see fit for the job. You will be working and learning from different environments, teams and industries.
Next to it, you will be surrounded by experts in different fields, and you will learn so many new things in a short time. Xebia Data offers the perfect environment to shine as a data professional.
What will you do to make data-intensive applications work effectively and securely?
With your knowledge of software engineering, cloud, clusters, queues, containers, streaming or graphs, you will work on the backbone of the data infrastructure. There is a lot of data to store, a lot of jobs to execute and plan, and many configurations to be dealt with. But don’t worry, this is where you’ll thrive. You’ll work with the customer in teams mixed by Xebians and the client, and pick up work related to the backbone the team is building on.
When working on site with a client, you may encounter something that is very difficult to solve. At Xebia we work as a team and we’ve got your back. Everyone at Xebia Data is just a message away and is always ready to help! We say People First, and we mean it.
Who are we looking for?
The Data Engineer role is a senior position that is integral to our client’s teams, so we ask for at least 3 years of relevant work experience. That said, we’re always open to talent that stands out! If you have unique achievements, like contributing to open-source projects or founding your own startup, we encourage you to apply, no matter your experience level.
