Hilversum, 4 April 2023 - As of April 1st, 2023, the rebranding of g-company has been completed, and the cloud specialist will now operate entirely under the umbrella of parent brand Xebia. This means that all g-company disciplines, such as cloud-first workplaces and Salesforce, will fall under the Xebia name. In 2021, Xebia acquired g-company, but the company had still been operating under its own brand name.
This move marks a new boost for Xebia's ambition to position itself as an authority in the field of digital transformation. The brand offers in-depth expertise in areas such as Agile, DevOps, Data and AI, Cloud, Software Development, Security, Quality Assurance, Low Code, and Microsoft Solutions. Xebia is engaged in consultancy, state-of-the-art software development, and training within these disciplines.
A Cloud-First Workplace: Secure and Simple
By integrating g-company under the Xebia brand, Xebia is effectively adding a new area to its ecosystem: that of the cloud-first workplace. g-company specializes in the transition to simple, secure, and agile workspaces, using tools such as Google Workspace, ChromeOS, monday.com, and Freshworks. Additionally, there is a specialized team for Salesforce activities, which will operate as an independent unit within Xebia, fully focused on helping organizations set up and apply Salesforce.
"We are proud to now carry out the name change to Xebia," says Lennart Benoot, Managing Director at Xebia. "Thanks to collaboration with other Xebia units, we offer our customers more services in different areas and are better able to help companies and organizations with their digital transformation. For customers, little changes: they can expect the same expertise and service as before."
First Google Partner in Northern Europe
g-company was founded in 2007 by David Saris at the time when Google introduced its first business solution. This made it the first Google partner in Northern Europe. In the meantime, g-company has grown into an internationally operating company that was embraced by Xebia in 2021.
Strong name in the cloud domain
Over the years, g-company has built up a considerable reputation in the cloud domain, which it has underlined with several prestigious awards. The company previously won the Work Transformation Enterprise Partner Specialization of Google Workspace and is a platinum partner for monday.com and Freshworks.
The rebranding is part of Xebia's strategy to use a recognizable brand name worldwide for all disciplines. Previously, the brands Binx.io, Oblivion, and GoDataDriven were successfully converted to Xebia.
"Until recently, our versatile service portfolio was marketed under different brand names," says Andrew de la Haije, CEO of Xebia. "This allowed us to gain in-depth expertise in various areas over the years. Now it's time to bring those expertises under the same banner, thereby further building our authority position and stimulating rapid international growth."
