Alexander Wijns
Alexander has a passion for all things data and machine learning. His background in theoretical physics inspires him to combine pragmatic engineering with a deep understanding of the underlying concepts. He is certified in both Data Engineering and Machine Learning Engineering on Google Cloud Platform, for which he’s also an Authorized Trainer.
In his academic days he always thrived on sharing his knowledge and experience with other people and that continues to be an important driver for him to this day. He’s worked on projects ranging from data warehouse modernisation and MLOps to building cutting-edge recommender systems for companies such as Orbisk, Plukon, Vaxxinova, Smartphoto and G4S. He’s a strong believer in lifelong learning and aims to achieve this through building, exploring and teaching others.
